A difficult, almost impassable path, in a desolate territory, partially abandoned by empathy, where limits have been crossed beyond what is tolerable. So, here I am, with no choice but to look inside and manifest my physical and emotional strength to bear the weight of existence, of identity, trying to transform pain into poetry, with much frustration, with much disagreement, sometimes with anger, but searching for that spark, that magic, that synchronicity, which is there, shining somewhere. #pecaart #coreyhelfordgallery #artcollector #magic #empathy #peace #love

The Gods that inhabit my landscapes are spiritual beings, aware of their connection with universal energy, they are awake, sometimes they are entities of light or they play with it, float among the stars and defy the law of gravity, they can appear in a dream, deep meditation, astral travel or in a psychedelic or Shamanic experience they are usually there to show us something. Something that is worth pointing out no matter how irrelevant it may seem. My first motivation to paint is existentialist, it is a personal search for the meaning of life. I work with a magical intention because I believe that each artistic manifestation leaves an imprint on the universe and produces changes, by materializing our dreams we are influencing the great collective mind. My paintings do not have a simple understanding , they can produce pleasure and in turn awaken complex sensations, that is why I try to be very precise when I work, not so much in terms of technique but in the balance of energies.

The works of the painter Peca transport us into a mystical universe, which is populated by these peaceful creatures you can see behind me. The scenes depicted in her painting are part of her dreams and visions that appear during her daily meditation. After deep contemplation she transfers her experiences onto the canvas - and while using a very unique symbolism she allows us to have a glimpse into her inner world.
