After years of haunting the halls of Horror Vibes Coffee, our beloved pumpkin king Lloyd is officially passing the broomstick. Today, we welcome the newest face of Horror Vibes Coffee- Espressa🎃 A spell-casting pumpkin queen brewed from caffeine, chaos, and a little bit of midnight magic. As we enter a new era of Horror Vibes, Espressa will officially become the new face of our brand moving forward. That means we’ll slowly be phasing out merchandise featuring Lloyd, including our iconic logo tees, and replacing them with our new logo featuring Espressa! Lloyd will always be part of Horror Vibes history, but it’s time for a new legend to rise from the pumpkin patch 🎃 Shoutout to our resident artist @pbourque77 for the design and for bringing Espressa to life!

You mind if I vent to you real quick? 80s B-roll section New addition to the 80s triple feature in Vegas! All the movies I couldn’t really fit in the two main sections, plucking them straight from the void. Other than Terminator, some of these film’s mostly go unnoticed and underrepresented. This piece was a full on freestyle sesh, no plan, just a list of movies I had to fit into the circular composition (still missing about 22 movies). Next month I am finally tackling the 1980s main section and it will be a giant step forward in the presentation of the shop. Excited to see you all again for another epic piece of the puzzle! Films depicted include: Terminator (1984) Madman (1981) Bad Dreams (1988) Humanoids from the Deep (1980) The Suckling (1990) *dammit!* House by the Cemetery (1981) Breeders (1986) The Kindred (1987) The Keep (1983) Cellar Dweller (1988) The Pit (1981) Venom (1981) Mother’s Day (1980) Dark Night of the Scarecrow (1981) I, Madman (1989) Out of the Dark (1988) Evil Dead Trap (1988) The Boogie Man (1980) Brain Damage (1988) Hell High (1989) Fade to Black (1980) Without Warning (1980) Video Dead (1987) Once Bitten (1985) Curtains (1983) Hollywood Chainsaw Hookers (1988) Slaughter High (1986)

“Teal” 12’ x 14’ Acrylic & paint markers Had the opportunity to paint this for a start up Tech Company called @tealcommunications , courtesy of @kelseakiyomi . With the chameleon as their mascot, I wanted him to be the focal point along with the ambient city lights saturating the night sky backdrop. And added in some humanoid robots for good measure, cause yeah that’s the future whether we like it or not 😅😅 Had a blast here in Seattle, always good people and always surprisingly good weather. #seattleart #seattleartscene #citylights #tech

80s ERA (Remakes and Sequels) @horrorvibescoffee Vegas Created with @posca_usa Finally getting around to my favorite decade, The 80s. Where practical effects pushed the boundaries of what we could actually see on film. The bonkers, drug fueled storylines were out of this world, creating some of the most unique films ever. With that being said, there was a lot of trash 😆 I’ve sifted through 300+ movies and made three sections. The first being remakes and sequels since there were a lot of them. Movies depicted: Halloween 2 (1981) Halloween 3 (1982) Cat People (1982) Amityville 2 (1982) Amityville 3-D (1983) Day of the Dead (1985) Jaws 3-D (1983) Freddys Revenge (1985) Aliens (1986) Friday the 13th Part 2 (1981) Friday the 13th Part 3 (1982) Friday the 13th Part 4 (1984) Friday the 13th Part 5 (1985) Friday the 13th Part 6 (1986) Friday the 13th Part 7 (1988) Friday the 13th Part 8 (1989) The Fly (1986) Invaders From Mars (1986) Little Shop of Horrors (1986) Texas Chainsaw Massacre 2 (1986) Demons 2 (1986) Creepshow 2 (1987) Nightmare on Elm Street 3 (1987) Silent Night, Deadly Night Part 2 (1987) Evil Dead II (1987) The Blob (1988) Halloween 4 (1988) Hellbound: Hellraiser II (1988) Nightmare on Elm Street 4 (1988) Halloween 5 (1989) #1980s #80shorrormovies #80shorror #horrormoviefan horrorvibes

“Mamba Law” 9’ x 7’ Acrylic Had a chance to hook up @gsanchezesq office in LA. Evolving the company logo to fit more of a Lakers/Kobe theme, I added two dueling mambas along with some atmospheric splatter. Hoping this piece ushers in some solid vibes to the space! #lakers #lalakers #mambamentality #kobe #kobebryant

“One day in Cali” 50’ x 5’ Acrylic Spent the last month working on this piece for @detailaaron I designed the flow of the piece around the many stages of the sun throughout the day. Beginning on the right (sunrise) and setting on the left, while moving through a sprawling LA landscape, including Downtown, Hollywood, Santa Monica and also spreading into the sequoias of Northern California. I was handed a list of characters, buildings and references that represented his career, family interests and self reflection. This piece took over 2 months to create, from notes to finished product. For the Timelapse, it was quite difficult to boil a month’s worth of painting in under a minute, so just take a glimpse into the process.

“New Era” Acrylic and paint marker 6’ X 3’ Regardless of how far the Pats get in the playoffs, it’s been fun to see a new staff come in and bring new life into the franchise. No longer the bloated success from the Brady/Belichick era, this team is fighting for their own identity and place in the league. Last project of the year goes to my popps, we wanted to cross reference modern sports mixed with the revolutionary war, and sprinkle in some representation of the other teams in a more comedic tone. As for the main character, I wanted to do a mix of Pat the patriot and a character from those Dilly Dilly commercials. #patriots #patsnation #patsnation🏈 #patthepatriot #drakemaye
