Episode 2.
I’m proud to be part of something that feels so british, especially at a time when what that even means is being questioned. I wanted the music to reflect the full spectrum of my Britishness. Seeing that land with so many people has meant a lot.
Big love to everyone behind the scenes, and to the band bringing it to life with me.
There’s a moment just before we go live where everything just gets quiet. The stillness of the audience, eyes across the band locked, engineers faders up, the count down for the count in…. But no safety net. That feeling is unmatched.
Truly one of the most challenging and enriching jobs I’ve ever done. And every time I hear those words… “live from London, it’s Saturday night”… yeah. Still hits.

These days, full circle moments hit different.
I did my work experience at Television Centre, quietly shadowing producers, dreaming about one day making it onto the bbc graduate scheme. Hoping that somehow I’d earn a place in a building that already felt sacred to me. After a few stints as a junior producer, life gently pulled me back to my first love, Music.
Now every time I walk through these doors at TC, it feels like a celebration. Theres a daily conversation between past and present me, cos life could have gone in sooooo many directions but I am deeply grateful it went this way. Grateful I met @longers1 who invited me onto this journey. Grateful to be building something beautiful alongside the wonderful @shambl3s
There is a quote that has lived in my heart, “Your dreams are not random. They are previews of the life you are capable of.”
