We made a day of it at Rutherford. I snowboarded powder for the very first time. We went into the ice cave and travelled through the mountains that go on forever.

These are some photos of my time in Chengdu. I went on a contract to work with the people at the indoor skiing area on a slopestyle course. While we were there, we went to see the pandas, the Dujiangyan Irrigation System (the oldest functioning damless irrigation system, built around 256 BC), Qinyan Tower and got to ski inside. We ate really good food. Thank you to the people there for extending so much kindness and making it a truly memorable experience. This is probably my favourite area I’ve been to in China.

Snowcatting brought me back China. I moved a lot of snow, saw some pretty cool things and got to ski this time around. Some highlights were getting to build a slopestyle course with Tom, see World Cup big air and halfpipe events, the pandas, and walk along the Great Wall. Thank you for having me @tigerridgeterrainpark

A few from another season at Perisher, working with my favourite crew. Lots of sunrises, some midnight langlaufing and endless snowcatting. And wombats! 🫡

Little recap from @_shegrooms_ I was able to participate as a coach in terrain park building. This was a new experience for me and brought me out of my comfort zone. I had a blast, got to see people I met two years ago and made so many new friends! Thanks for having me! Never stop learning and always believe in yourself 🤍

We worked hard and skied just as hard. My heart is full and memories were made. I am feeling accomplished and grateful to have been included in @thebuild__up to build a park for The Creative Surge, put on by @nothinginthepantry I can’t even begin to describe how fulfilling it was to spend the week with such an incredible group of women. We came together seamlessly to create something that speaks to our hearts, and so many others have enjoyed since. Endless thank you’s to @arena_snowparks @silverstarmtnresort @silverstarparks @freshfield.life and @drinksaltt for supporting the event. Special mention to @younggaill @nikkilorentz and @jessicapaigeriemens for the conceptualization and dedication to bring this to life 💕 📸: the talented @noelllekathleen

🚨🚨🚨PAULA MOORE 🚨🚨🚨 Paula grew up on Vancouver Island, BC, Canada. She started her career in snow at Mt Washington in high school by her 20s she was day crew in the terrain parks where she eventually became terrain park supervisor. Through working with the operators at the resort, she became interested in operating snowcats herself and was given opportunities to begin building with cats in the park. Paula was inspired after having the opportunity to work with Charles Beckinsale on a visit to Mt Washington and she secured work in the Australian winter at Perisher. She started free grooming then winching and is now full time in the terrain parks and will be returning for her 4th season at Perisher. Paula expertise has also taken her to China in 2024, working for Tiger Ridge. While there, she worked on boarder cross, slopestyle and big air courses, as well as assisting around the halfpipe. Most recently, Paula was one of the snowcat operators at Take The Rake 2024 at Trollhaugen, Wisconsin and will be at The Build Up, April 2025, at Silverstar, BC, Canada for The Creative Surge Comp. Both of these are terrain parks built by women, for everyone to ride. She attended She Grooms in 2023 and is very excited for the opportunity to return as a coach this year! During the off season, Paula has worked as trail crew as an excavator operator in the bike park, along with other various jobs, including commercial fishing, golf course maintenance, yoga/barre instructor and now, maker and owner of @catalajewellery . 📸 @katiealeyphotos . . . . @thebuild__up @perisher_resort @perisher_parks #womenofwinter #skilledoperator #terrainparkbuilder #boardercross #thebuildup #shegrooms #hookedonafeeling #womenintrades #fyp #pistenbully #taketherake #prinoth_snowgroomers @prinoth_snowgroomers
