Last week, my new project “I Went Looking for Lions” was awarded Best Student Film – Africa at the Pan-Atlantic University International Student Film Festival.
To share this story on home soil… in front of peers, mentors, and a room full of rising filmmakers… was something truly special. I stood on that stage as a student, a storyteller, and a proud Nigerian creative.
Thank you to the @PAUISFF team for curating such a thoughtful space, and for continuing to build a culture of excellence and expression in African film.
