🎬 From the film set to the classroom, Fumnanya Ochei is building an inspiring career, one frame at a time. In this video, she shares how the Master's in Film Production at SMC has helped shape her journey so far. And now, she's giving back. The Modular MFP programme is structured around the following modules, covering different areas of specialisation, theory, and practice in syntax, grammar, aesthetics, and conceptual studies: • Module I: Screenwriting • Module II: Producing for the Screen • Module III: Film Directing • Module IV: Cinematography & Production Design • Module V: Sound Design • Module VI: Motion Picture Editing Modular MFP 3-Semester Plan: • 1st Semester (September 2025 – January 2026): Modules I & II + two intensive weeks (one per module) • 2nd Semester (February 2026 – June 2026): Modules III & IV + two intensive weeks (one per module) • 3rd Semester (June 2026 – August 2026): Modules V & VI + two intensive weeks (one per module) • Graduation: December 2026 Class Schedule: Classes will run on Saturdays (except the last Saturday of every month and the first Saturday of December due to Convocation) and during the intensive weeks, of which there will be two each semester. The intensive weeks are designed to ensure sufficient on-campus presence by students while also enabling the completion of required class hours. The Scriptwriting for Children’s Animation course is designed for aspiring screenwriters, writers transitioning into animation, content creators for children’s media, and anyone interested in storytelling for young audiences.
