Like many, I first fell into drag via the glitter-stained chaos of Drag Race. But what I wanted wasn’t just sequins – it was substance. Then there’s @yellow.channel : sharp, messy, honest. Founded by @pattographyx (Phatthara Lertsukittipongsa), he’s not only the force behind Yellow Channel – he’s also the founder of @thailandsdragstar , the stage uniting queens from Bangkok to Nakhon Si Thammarat, Chantaburi to wherever Google Maps gives up. It’s not just about crowns or catchphrases, but creating space for the overlooked, the out-there, the ones still figuring it out. We spoke with him about identity, transformation and why drag, at its core, is about more than makeup.
