New Zealand costume designer Kate Hawley has won the Oscar for Best Costume Design for her masterful work on the film Frankenstein.
This was Hawley’s first nomination and win for an Academy Award, and follows soon after her first BAFTA win last month.
Hawley accepted the award wearing a custom @rorywilliamdocherty silk dupion ivory gown and Multi Tie Painters cape coat, paired with archival @tiffanyandco jewellery.
