Designing the sets for the Cinematic Launch Trailers of Meta’s Asgard’s Wrath 2 was an intense and creative experience. Shooting in Vancouver, BC, I was tasked with crafting 2 sets: a suburban middle class living room, showcasing the aftermath of a son’s long weekend crash and a Lower East Side NYC apartment, complete with a rusty old water heater and weathered bricks that bore the scars of years of life. The challenge? The Lower East Side apartment was added on Friday afternoon and needed to be camera-ready by 8 am on Monday. 😳
Opportunities like these, which push the boundaries of creativity and time, don’t come around every day! Despite the pressure, I thoroughly enjoyed the process.
