Photography is an important aspect of architecture.
The Daguerreotype was among the first photographic methods when it was invented by Louis-Jacques-Mandé Daguerre in 1839.
However, Joseph-Philibert Girault de Prangey exclusively used the daguerreotype for the purposes of architecture photography, arguably making him the first architecture photographer. His first known photos, taken as early as 1841.
Abijo Mosque has had its fair share of being âsnappedâ (I took many process photographs during construction).
It has been the Subject of several brilliant architectural photographers, who have all done justice to what we believe has been our finest hour so far.
We hope to create many more masterpieces to nestle in the urban fabric. ISA
