I really enjoyed working on my second project this week. It involved creating a mat collage for the signed Spider-Man Animated Series from the 90s. One of the iconic figures associated with Spider-Man, voice actor Christopher Barnes.

Took a break from social media and caught up on some personal projects that I wanted to do for myself. It felt very nice. I’m not going to lie. I’ve been very depressed all year because I lost my dog and my cat in back to back months in January and February. So it was very difficult for me to jump into painting, so to kickstart my creativity, I wanted to do something very relaxing and fun. Anyways, here is one thing that I did that was very fun and time consuming. I made a collage out of a mat using comic book pages that I cut out. So thankful to @coprogallery for the opportunity to display my oil paintings for the first time at the LA ART SHOW in DTLA. Very blessed and honored to have both the paintings SOLD! What’s more amazing is that I found out my largest painting was sold to The Ennis House where they filmed the original Bladerunner (1982) and House On Haunted Hill (1959)! The Ennis House is a Los Angeles Historic Cultural Monument and California Historical Landmark, and it is listed on the National Register of Historic Places.
