Day 9. Starting to lose our minds a little over capturing this magic. We’ve had beans and rice everyday to keep us going thru the long hours. Mom and dad said it would be like a winter music camp for two weeks. Sometimes I can hear the city sirens and helicopters reminding us the outside world still exists beyond our compound. They make us sing “the song that never ends” if we misbehave. And if we’re out of tune? 12 lashings for every note on the scale. Sister writes that by the end of this adventure we’ll be welcomed home as pros. We miss you and soon we’ll return to the stage but this we gotta do. Banjo, drums, and other bells and whistles coming right up.
