Had an epic Dad-daughter adventure with @crfl_7 at Mt. Toll today. Last weekend we never left the parking lot because it was so windy. Redemption today with prime conditions and perfect corn snow. Salvaged some good days from a tough season.
Low tide floats all boats? Is that the saying? @ejmcrawford and I made the best of what we have with a nice Valentine’s Day ski. Great to be out, and 2” counts as a pow day in 2026.
A few photos from an amazing and maybe final trip to visit @crfl_7 while she’s a student at WWU. We had a few days in Squamish, including the world’s steepest hike, a downclimb that turned out to be basically an unprotected via ferrata in the rain, followed by hanging our feet over an abyss that we have no idea how high it was. It even cleared a bit for some views. Then we headed down to Bellingham to hang in her hometown and do a few Galbraith laps.
Just back from one of my favorite weeks of the year: the @protectourwinters Annual Leadership Summit. ❄ 🏔
We charged through three days of building strategy, tactics and plans ahead of a massively important election for our climate future.
POW’s crew put together an incredible list of speakers, including Bill McKibben, @jeremyjones , @ming.t.poon@hellobeakim@erin_sprague , @amieski , @outsidehilary@sofia_jaramillo5 and so many more.
Equally important was a few days outside with good friends to remind us why all this matters. Thanks to everyone who attended.
The election is only a few weeks away. Let’s go! Photos: @gpowersfilm and @oneill_dm
A few days late to posting from our trip to Iceland, but there was a lot to process. I’m so thankful to have everyone together for a week, largely disconnected from the world. Just us, a lot of fosses and glaciers and adventures way up north. 🇮🇸
