City of Hope South Bay was honored to welcome U.S. Olympian snowboarder @hellobeakim . Bea grew up nearby in Palos Verdes and has seen firsthand what it means to have a loved one go through cancer.
She spent the afternoon with our nurses, surgical oncologists and staff, toured our radiation therapy room, signed photos, and shared some of her snowboarding tips along the way. 🏂💙
City of Hope South Bay opened in 2018 with the belief that patients in Torrance and its surrounding communities deserve access to expert cancer care close to home.
Our team works directly with physicians and specialists at City of Hope in Duarte, bringing that same level of care to the people who live here.
