Looking back at this year, it’s been quite a rollercoaster of experiences and emotions. Running brought me to many new places, introduced me to some really special people, and taught me numerous lessons along the way. Although I appreciate the presence of structure in my life and I have always set goals to help me get to where I want to be, I generally avoid making long term plans, as I know life and the world around me is always shifting. As much as we want to control all aspects of our lives, adaptability is essential, and something I am trying to become more accustomed to practicing. At times, I find myself being disappointed about how certain things pan out, what could have been, or what could not have been. Although I give those feelings some attention and thought, I try my best not to let them linger as I’ve been gifted with some incredible and transformative experiences as a result of the paths I’ve chosen or have found myself being guided toward. There’s so much in life to celebrate and be appreciative of, and I’m glad I can share it with so many people. To everyone who’s supported me throughout the year, thank you, and I hope I’ve been able to provide similar support in return! . When it comes to racing, here are a few of this year’s highlights (definitely a mix of terrain and distances, with each endeavor enjoyable in its own unique way!) šŸƒā€ā™‚ļø . Your kindness and belief in me are greatly appreciated! šŸ™ . @Salomon @Suunto @DrymaxSocks @InsideTracker @TriggerPin . šŸ“ø @keeler.photographic

Happy Marathon Monday eve to everyone running, supporting, volunteering, spectating, and enjoying the magic that is the Boston Marathon. Tomorrow morning I’ll be headed to Hopkinton for my eleventh consecutive Boston, and I feel incredibly grateful to be able to write those words and toe that line. I’m not sure what to expect, but I’m ready to open myself up to the possibilities. That’s running after all. I’ll keep it short, but I’m continuing to raise funds for the Boston Bulldogs Running Club, a community that I care deeply about, and who is making a positive impact in those whose lives have been impacted by addiction. I hope you’ll consider learning more about them, and maybe even making a donation to support the great work the club is doing each and every day. You can visit the link in my bio to contribute. See you on the streets in the a.m.! High fives and loud screams are greatly appreciated. ā¤ļø

🚨 Move Free Summit Showdown 🚨 Kicking off now! šŸš€ Four months and four summits of Mount Desert Island! June Segment: Dorr Mountain July Segment: Champlain Mountain August Segment: Beech Mountain September Segment: Cadillac Mountain Embrace your inner mountain goat! Each month features its own Strava segment of one of the local peaks on Mount Desert Island that participants are challenged to complete for some fun prizes! The top five men and women for each segment during its corresponding month will be awarded prizes from local businesses, as well as the ā€œlocal legendsā€ (the individuals who have completed the segment the most during that month regardless of pace or speed). We want to acknowledge that Strava does not currently have nonbinary leaderboards, but we welcome and encourage our nonbinary friends to participate, and will have prizes for any nonbinary participants. We will also have prizes for those that complete all four segments across all four months. Stay tuned! Our hope is we can inspire everyone to get out there and enjoy the mountains, and to find some inspiration to challenge themselves in whatever way that looks like to them! Who knows, you might just surprise yourself! ā¤ļø Visit Move Free’s website for more information on each route and links to each segment! šŸ—ŗļø

The outpouring of support for our first USL soccer team in Maine has been as unyielding and strong as the pine tree of our state. 🌲 The atmosphere at Fitzpatrick Stadium is electric at every game with a sellout crowd (despite the traditional rain?), drawing Mainers and visitors alike for this engaging, exciting game experience. šŸŽ‰ Our own @patrickccaron recently had the honor of running and debuting the new First Light kit atop Cadillac Mountain as the sun rose over the horizon. šŸŒ… Don't miss the next home game on May 31st! šŸ—“ļø Up The Hearts! 🫶 #MaineSports #mainething #mesports #newenglandoutdoors #adventuretraveler #sporttravel #sportreporter #createyourmove #sportscation #beyondlimits #adventurehere #sportsnation #competitiontime #newenglandoutdoors #forceofnature #usl #usasoccer
