Here we go again! Back with what I’ve been up to for the past year 📆
Last year I spoke about my creativity and content being pushed into a place that was uncomfortable, which inevitably led to me burning out multiple times. With this in mind; heading into 2025 my perspective was shifted. This year I have been able to put more focus into my existing client network, and took on less new work than I could handle, resulting in less burn out. Less agency work and better focus on client relationships. Which is the most important thing to me! 🫶
My end of year reel is pretty much the only passion project I have in my media work. Control over my own product, to create art. It has been this way for sometime… but content is king and art sometimes can get pushed out the door. 2025 had the need for: content, clips and BTS. There is less of a need for ‘art’. Therefore this is why I do this. To remind myself of the year that I’ve had, to reflect on the memories made, to create something for me 🤘🏼
In 2025 I shared significantly less work (with the exception of a few collaborations). I could put this down to the separation of my accounts but in reality it is probably a lack of motivation to market myself. That being said, it means there is less to look back on and at the end of the day this is a portfolio account. So at the start of 2026 I will be posting a top 10 of 2025 so keep your eyes on @patrickaxe.mp4 (please follow if you don’t already 🥺) for this!
2025 you’ve been a blessing in disguise. I’ve managed to travel internationally again which is something I’ve always dreamed of, and will never take for granted. Thank you to the artists & managers, marketing teams, venues & promoters, both new & old, you know who you are I thank you dearly for working with me in 2025 and look forward to working with you all again next year and beyond!

Today marks 9 years of my freelance career in digital media 😯
Something that started as a hobby playing around with my brothers camera and go pro, making edits just for the fun of it - to making a living doing something I love. The places I have been able to see, the amazing people I get to meet and work with, is something I will never take for granted.
There have been many different iterations from part-time whilst working minimum wage jobs, during education at college and university (biggest waste of time), almost defunct during covid, to being full-time. Being self-employed can be so stressful at times with ups and downs that are never consistent but if you do something that you love it rarely feels like work.
Each year my client base is growing and growing and won’t be slowing down any time soon, I’ve never felt happier with my career. Thank you to all of my past and present clients for working with me over the last 9 years, and trusting me with your visions. It feels like I’m only getting started 🙌🏼

What an honour it was to be involved in this project. After being in the works for over 2 years, and 4 years of working me with @hannah_wants this is a night I will never forget! 🥹
This one was so important to me: capturing Hannah’s vision for the brand, and presenting it in photo and video form. In a one man team creating an aftermovie, photo album, BTS content all through the night, a 4x mulitcam YouTube full set and multicam clips - it’s safe otherwise say I was put through my paces but it was worth every second. And not to mention flying to Switzerland the next day too!
With a perfectly crafted line-up of some incredible selectors. You couldn’t have asked for a better, more intimate and lively space on a thursday night in London - in the toilets of @unlocked.electronic

Back to one of the craziest summers of my career. 2 return trips to Majorca in 7 days was just the start of it 😅 5 nights at BCM shooting some of the biggest names in dance music - Steve Aoki, Dimitri Vegas, Chase & Status, + many more. A major highlight shooting C&S who had been on my bucket list for as long as I can remember. Thank you to PBH for having me on this one 🫶

My first all night long with Hannah and in such a unique venue. Hidden away deep in Manchester’s industrial district in a low capacity venue, known for being an absolute sweatbox. The Mancs did not disappoint, energy all night long 🔥 One of my favourite sets I’ve seen Hannah play. Her USB is something to be desired 😌

Shot for @firmativestudio back in 2023 this one was a big full circle moment. Back when I was 15, the first video I was ever paid to make, I used Jonas Blue’s ‘Perfect Strangers’ as the track for the video. And to fast forward 8 years to shooting the artist that made that track was something special to me. Thank you to Firmative for giving me that opportunity 🫶 And what a great day this was!

Where do I even start with this one… 😅 This might be top 5 nights of my life. Period. I have never seen Void so alive and bouncing. The man with the most infectious energy in dance music gracing little old Lincoln. Sammy has gone on to dominate the world with his music, but this is one we will never forget - and we still talk about now.
