We are so grateful to have had the opportunity to speak (more than once) during the Champion of the Year Conference. We were able to share our story on how we became friends and why Patrick wanted to run for Champion of the Year at the kickoff dinner. The next day we spoke on a panel with many of our friends! We chatted about our love for Best Buddies, tips and tricks to our successful campaign, and all things Champion of the Year! Sharing the stage with other successful champions from Minnesota made us really proud to be part of our amazing state and @bestbuddiesmn program! Minnesota is a small but mighty team making a HUGE impact. We are excited for Best Buddies to continue to grow and expand. Everyone deserves to have a friend and feel included!
We had the BEST time and grateful for the opportunity. 💙 We loved meeting all our new friends from across the country and the WORLD! Best Buddies is the reason we were brought together and we can’t be more thankful for our friendship and all the opportunities.

We loved being surrounded by 8 other amazing champions and mission partners. Everyone worked so hard and kept it SO competitive - it was down to the very end 😅.

The Best Buddies Citizen Program supports the development of friendships between adults with and without disabilities in their communities. Many people with disabilities have limited opportunities for social interactions after they leave the school environment. This program helps people with disabilities become part of mainstream society and creates an inclusive and diverse community for all.🙌
