Last night was a double debut.
Night 1 of ALT CTRL’s East Coast tour — and my first time shooting at @2037gottingen
Somewhere between shooting and singing along, I realized I was belting out the very things I was once too afraid to be free of when I was younger — lyrics carrying both memories and a kind of healing I didn’t know I still needed.
These were the songs that lived in the background of my youth, passed down through my older brother’s speakers, and last night they felt alive in a whole new way.
Charging batteries and heading into Night 2 at @glasgowsquare with a full heart and a camera ready for more. 🎶📸

I am thrilled and proud to finally share the first episode of Phoebe St. LIVE with you featuring Patrick Pentland of the Canadian rock combo Sloan. It was a pleasure and an honour to have Patrick in the house to chop it up in regard to his craft and process and challenge himself by presenting some of his finest compositions acoustically and in a different tuning, as well as different keys, all on the fly, in keeping with the spirit of the show.
I started Phoebe St. LIVE to document and further humanize the beauty and power of music. Raw, unfiltered and LIVE. I am truly grateful for Patrick having the courage to participate. I’m also thankful for JR Reid (director/editor), Alex Chung (camera), John Pogue (lighting director), Rob Sanzo (sound engineer) and Darrin Klimek (colour) for their enthusiasm and expertise in bringing this idea to life.
