⭐️ To celebrate International Nurses Day, we are highlighting the amazing work done by a team at Livewell Southwest which is providing innovative physical and mental healthcare for the homeless in Plymouth ⭐️
Hundreds of people experiencing homelessness like Steve are getting the vital care they need thanks to Health Inclusion Pathway Plymouth (HIPP). The HIPP team was established to meet the needs of people with complex lives who cannot access standard services.
➡️ Research shows people who are homeless are admitted to hospital at more than twice the rate of the housed population, rising to ten times higher among people sleeping rough or in hostels.
➡️ Around 30% of deaths among homeless hospital patients are from preventable or treatable causes.
Thank you to Steve for sharing his story 🙏

What a night ✨
Honoured to take the mic as auctioneer at last night’s @pathdevon gala — raising vital funds to support those facing homelessness. The final total’s still being counted, but we smashed expectations 🙌
Extra special to share the evening (and a table!) with one of my partner agents @thefrancisstuart — a perfect reminder that this business is built on long-lasting relationships, not one-off transactions.
So proud to do it all in my hometown, surrounded by my fellow Janners 💚
