A little birdie told us that an article on our shop was published today in
@sdmagmagazine 𼚠Feeling humbled beyond measure and realized weâve never done a formal introduction around here so thought it was probably about timeâŚ
Weâre Alexa and Tiffany~ with three toddlers between us (Reuben, Basil, + Dottie) and our partners (Ian + Aaron). In 2023, our two families opened small neighboring shops in the heart center of historic Julian, CA. By cosmic happenstance, shop neighbors became dear friends and when the opportunity arose to take over a century old farm stand with profound roots in Julianâs history, we banded togetherâ two families, one shop, and created Patchwork Market.
With honor and homage to the propertyâs history built on an 18 acre orchard in the 1930âs, Patchwork continues itâs legacy as a specialty grocer and our small townâs primary apple standâ Supporting local growers, bakers, preservers, and craftsmen alike, Patchwork carries organic local produce, pantry goods, handmade and found goods for children and home, vintage clothing, and an abundance of seasonal plants and flowers. Down the line, Patchwork will also serve as a gathering space, hosting workshops, harvest dinners, and events for the community of Julian and beyond. Read more about our vision for the shop in
