✈️🌍 We’re happy to announce that we are now shipping DDP (Delivered Duty Paid) to the United States and United Kingdom
Due to the constant changes in international tariffs and the increasingly complicated import processes, we want to simplify the experience for our customers in the US, UK and other markets. With DDP shipping, all import taxes, duties, and handling costs are already included in the listed price. This means that once your order is placed, there will be no additional payments, paperwork, or customs steps required on your side.
At checkout, you will also see free shipping for these items. What you pay at the store is the final total cost to receive the instrument at your door.
This is part of an ongoing testing phase. We are closely monitoring how the process works and gradually expanding it. Our goal is to eventually offer DDP shipping across the entire shop globally.
If there is an instrument you are interested in that is not yet listed with DDP please feel free to contact us directly. We’ll be happy to see if we can arrange a DDP shipment for you.
The same goes for countries, if you wish to have DDP outside USA or UK, please contact us.
We hope this makes ordering from us simpler, clearer, and completely hassle-free for our customers in the United States, United Kingdom, and in the future, globally.
Thank you for your continued support.

🌟NEW DESIGNER IN DA 🏠🌟
We are delighted to announce Afrorack @afrorck as a new Patch Point instrument designer
To celebrate this new collab we are hosting 2 workshops where he will showcase his new designs to be released with us
You have to come to know them in first hand, but we can give you a hint:
one has a body of wood
and teeth of steel,
with a midi connection,
it bends both what is virtual and what is real.
Can you figure it out??

Hainbach @hainbach101 made us a visit to try the Kempisc set of gongs, he seemed happy!
✨✨✨🥁✨✨✨
Kempisc is a set of small yet heavy gongs. As minimalist adaptations of bossed gongs, they produce a clear pitch. When struck in the center, the tone is calm but has a very strong focus — that is, projection — meaning the sound is tightly bundled and directed, like a ray of sine waves. Think of it as a laser beam. When the gongs are struck closer to the edge with a harder mallet, the sound becomes richer in overtones, spreads more broadly, and moves in the direction of a gamelan-like character.
The gongs can be tuned quite precisely — to major, minor, according to Euler harmonies, Wilson scales, Bayati, or other specific tuning preferences. The standard tuning for a set of 4 gongs (⌀ = ~23/22/20/18 cm) is captured in the recording below. To discuss custom tuning requests, please get in touch.
We are happy to announce a special workshop with Valentina Magaletti on the 17th of March at 20H at Patch Point Berlin (Lenaustr. 20 12047)
Priority given to Women, Trans, and Non-Binary Participants. Everyone is welcome!
Valentina Magaletti is a queer drummer, composer, and multi-instrumentalist who treats percussion as a political and poetic instrument—an unruly body that refuses straight lines, fixed identities, and normative rhythms. Her work dismantles the boundaries between noise, ritual, and music, transforming ceramics, found objects, and skin-based textures into tools for resistance and queer world-building.
PS. A Valentina Magaletti X Patch Point @ekalimbas instrument is in the works.

With Live Clicker Performances by:
Jan St. Werner @fiepblattercatalogue
Başak Günak @ahkosmos
Eric D. Clark @eric_d_clark
The Clicker is a co-creation of Peter Blasser’s Ciat-Lonbarde and Jan St. Werner. In order to celebrate our limited Burnt Toast edition, we invited 3 artists to play live with it!
Jan St. Werner is a sound artist and sonic researcher, commonly known from Mouse on Mars, but also as a solo artist or a professor of Dynamic Acoustic Research. On his latest sound endeavorers he has being exploring the physicality of the sound phenomena.
Başak Günak, also known as AH! KOSMOS, is a sound artist, composer and performer. She develops theatre and movies soundtracks, sound installations, as she performs and composes her solo work. On top of that she has being curating FUU Records for the past years. She collaborates frequently with Hainbach, one of Patch Point beloved artists.
Eric D. Clark is the mister legend himself. You might know him from hits like From Disco to Disco or from collaborating with Chaka Khan,TLC or Chicks on Speed. Not only he is a nightlife icon as he is a multi-instrumentalist genius player and a Patch Point friend since day one: hanging out at the shop, performing at our events, and mastering the Clicker and Cocoquantus 2 with his signature curiosity and flair
