Eye prints with floral pattern border in Victorian oval frames. The original art for these eyes was inspired by Don’s mom Carmella and the many beautiful needlepoint eyes she created over the years for PATCH NYC which were sold to collectors worldwide. At 91 years old Carmella is unable to do her needlepoints today but lucky for us she is still always happy to take on a new project. Visit our online Gallery section to see our most recent selection and if you have the opportunity to work with your mom don’t pass it up! 👁️🤍👁️ #eyes #artprint #interiors #patchnyc

What do vintage Italian sunglasses, classic western wear and a 1927 Schiaparelli bow intarsia sweater have in common? They were all part of the inspiration behind our new hand-beaded Lariat Necklaces! The four unique color combinations of these Lariat Necklaces were inspired by a collection of vintage Italian sunglasses spotted at Cligancourt flea market in Paris. The sunglasses were made with layers of colorful lucite stacked to create alternating stripes of the most unusual and inspiring color combinations. With the lariat design of these hand-beaded necklaces, we thought about traditional western wear neckerchiefs and bolos as well as Elsa Schiaparelli’s classic 1927 intarsia sweater featuring a trompe l’oiel bowtie rendered in black and white. We wanted the essence of a classic ribbon bow but much more understated and refined as a balanced counterpoint to the colorful glass beads. See all four color options along with many other recent additions in the jewelry section of our website patchnyc.com #necklace #beads #inspiration #patchnyc
