The internal becomes external. Last week my internet pal and pedal genie @patchcables sent me his @emptyheadeffects External / Internal to try out. After sitting down with it just once it felt right to honor its name and document what it inspired (internal) in the form of a demo (external). This thing is part gated fuzz, part dynamically modulated single-repeat delay that can be a chorus, ring mod, sometimes all out warbly wall of sound, but really just an all around box of inspiration. Posted @withregram • @patchcables That’s feeling better. Gradually adjusting the gate/envelope of the pedals to feed eachother for more dramatic moments. Rn the rainger has a pretty delicate gate before it lets the reverb loose. Creates a sample-like moment. Trying to get that to directly correspond to the envelope on terrible mother so@when the reverbs at full force, the TM starts throwing randomized delay signals sputtering like a downed electrical wire.
