I don’t know about you, but I love it when somebody takes over the handlebars to bring the vehicle on a wonderful adventure. This was the case of @pascalpensa riding the BroomWagon Podcast 🚌 into an interview with @adamwilkoszarski Adam Wilkoszarski is a photographer from Poznań, and in March 2026 he cycled 1100 kilometres through Poland, Czechia and Germany to Zurich. He rode his @monopole.cc through winter roads mostly alone, sleeping in his @apergear tent in temperatures around zero. The plan sounded harsh, but he arrived two days early with the wonderful people at @batticuore.ch waiting for him in Zurich with cheerful faces and happy smiles. 50 Hours on the @612_parts Flat Pedals ⚙️ After a bit over a month on the @612_parts Flat Pedals, here’s how they’re holding up. Real miles, real wear, and a few scars to prove it. Photos and clips show the pedals in action plus footprint comparisons with the Chromag Dagga, NSB Daemon, and DMR Vault. Having helped design these after years riding the competition, it’s good to see where the 612s land — right in the sweet spot for platform size, grip and feel. Key numbers: 🦶 120mm long - 112 mm wide ⚖️ Asymmetric underside shifts the leading edge back to avoid rock strikes ⚙️ Pin layout adds grip and a bit more usable space on the crank side — perfect with wide Q-factor cranks (mine are 176 mm) The real standout is the steel axle and bearing assembly: • Sealed needle bearing on the crank side • Dual ball bearings outboard • All standard sizes — replaceable anywhere, anytime Serviceable. Durable. Call them the Forever Pedals. After 50 hours across Valais, the Grisons, Finale Ligure, and plenty of home laps, they’ve stayed tight and smooth. Just remember: read the pin setup guide and use Loctite — they’ll walk out if over-threaded. Grip is great, and so far, the pins are kinder on shoe soles than most. Over winter, I’ll test a few alternate pin styles to see if there’s even more traction to unlock. As they stand, these pedals tick all the boxes for a large, confidence-inspiring platform that’s easy to live with, built tough, and simple to service. #612_parts #flatpedals #mtb #madetolast
