This was a chair I made for @aiavermont Have a Seat competition this summer. The call was for one-person seating made from recycled or renewed material, so I made the Scarf Chair from the off cuts of scarf joints used to build our barn. ♻️
I had the privilege of participating in a class at @shelburnecraftschool with wood sourced from the forest at @shelburnefarms and this red oak bench is the result. Grateful for my good humored teachers Ryan and Chris, my gifted classmates, and the cosmic guidance of Marshall Webb. Hopefully more to come…
