Eva Dixon Shoot, 2026 Badminton racquet press frame, found cable ties, metal sheet, plexiglass, bulldog clip, bolts, d-rings and roofing screws 43.5 x 25 cm We had a wonderful time @artcolognefair with @evadixon.png Thank you @judith_sturm_ @les_themagazine for including us in your article! The crowning and most radical conclusion of our journey is Eva Dixon’s one-woman show. Her presentation at Particular Ideas was a visual manifestation of “industrial queer poetics.” The works - often in small format, but with an enormous physical density - rise sculpturally into the space. Dixon works with the aesthetics of resistance. By sealing finds with high-gloss resin, it gives a monstrous elegance to society’s “waste.” In works such as Emergency Exit, materiality itself becomes an issue: hard metal meets luminous LEDs, raw wood meets smooth polish.

Today is the last day of @artcolognefair Palma, what a provide to be apart of its first iteration. A few more install shots from my solo booth with @particularideas , I've been referring to this body of work as 'All American'. The first image is of one of my first sculptures, scroll along and you'll find some detail shots. The title 'Phew! It's hot in Malta' comes from a bootleg Garfield shirt with the same text I bought in Malta when I was 18, it hasn't fit me for years but I don't have the heart to throw it away. I reckon it won't be long till it finds its way into a work. The last few months I've spend sourcing keychains. Phew! It's hot in Malta! 2026 Basketball hoop, keychains, metal glue, roofing screws, screws, magazine cut outs and pins 175 x 32 cm The second image is of the install on the backside of our booth, details of both works can be found at the end of the carousel. The leather used in virgin territory is offcuts from automotive upholstery, painted with chrome effect car paint. 'Hot Hot' is made in part with a found poster from my first solo last year. Virgin Territory, 2025 Leather, automotive paint, magazine clipping, found pin and roofing screws on timber stretcher 36 x 36 cm Hot Hot 2026 Metal sheet, marker, thumb screws, washers, threaded insert and spacers on wooden frame with magazine and sticker 21.5 x 31 cm For any enquiries please DM @particularideas or email [email protected]

From London — Particular Ideas. ☀️ Next week. Look forward to it! @ParticularIdeas arrives at ART COLOGNE PALMA MALLORCA with a clear proposition: art made in genuine collaboration, realised with full creative freedom, presented with purpose. Their focus: @EvaDixon.png (b. Australia, 2000, lives and works in London) — a self-described mad scientist who investigates materials and subverts their purpose. Sheer polyester over reconstructed stretcher bars. Electrical shrink tubing. Paracord. Recycled wooden pallets. Geometric forms borrowed from construction, returned as something between painting, sculpture and craft — where opacity and transparency coexist, structure and surface become one, and stable and unstable materials hold each other in permanent, productive tension. A practice that questions everything about how things are made. And why. Presented as part of #ARTCOLOGNEPALMAMALLORCA — organised at the invitation of #ArtPalmaContemporani.

Cassie Vaughan Red Flag, 2024 Oil and oil pastel on canvas 41 x 36 cm Last few hours of ‘In Place; @cassie_vaughan_ Cassie Vaughan’s disrupted landscapes, built through layered paint and pastel, reflect ecological loss, regeneration, and the legacies of extractivism. Rooted in fragmentation, her work balances destruction and renewal, evoking both the traces of what has been lost and the fragile potential for growth, transformation, and ecological reflection. Nicholas Cheveldave Hell or High Water, 2025 Oil on canvas 50 x 40 x 2 cm Nicholas Cheveldave’s new series of paintings investigates the space in which images come into being and are reimagined over time. Drawing from personal experience, the works layer fragmented landscapes, where familiarity and dislocation coexist, inviting viewers into a terrain shaped by perception, recollection, and imagination. @nicholas.cheveldave WIP Space Studios, Wentworth House, Dormay St, London SW18 1EY Open Thursdays, Fridays and by appointment DM @wipspace For artwork information or to request a preview, please email: [email protected]
