Weeks posts
I only captured a few of the dogs of @cyclingworldeurope but they were all sweeties and often very tired by the end of a long day at the show.

6 Thru Axles, 2 Seatpost Camps, 2 headsets (eventually)….First look at my Folding-Transformer-Mini-Cargo. I started designing ing this bike a week after we decided to move to Amsterdam in early 2024. I was lucky that @sycipdesigns was willing to take on such an obscure design. There is a lot of influence from the Bike Friday Alpacka, @drustcycles designs are always on my mind too, and the fork concept I first saw on an @englishcycles This is the first build up just to ride the bike, test, and make any necessary refinements before paint. So far it rides great! The Nitto bullmoose are a little long so I’ll be making a shorter reach version soon. The next step is making the cargo platform and new steerer for the linkage steering. Can you tell how the fork works?

@bespoked.cc is where I kicked off Parsec in 2024 and while most of the last year has been behind the scenes and I wasn’t ready to have a booth again this year I will never miss the opportunity to go.

@bicyclecrumbs has had a daunting influence on the bike industry over the past decade. The first time I saw his radar pattern was on the paint scheme he designed for Franco Bicycles in 2016. When all I had was the first rendering of a cage I messaged Richard to see if he’d want to put it on a cage and he was down instantly. Get em while we still have some! Link in bio. #bikepacking #cargocages #nalgene #voile

I have worked a lot of bike shows over the past ten years but I’ve never represented my own brand. It’s hard to describe the difference. Partially vulnerable and nervous, partially driven and proud of what I’ve put together; which just makes the vulnerability that much more pointed. Dresden and @bespoked.cc you have been AMAZING! This is a very special event and community and I cannot wait for next year. #bestoked

Inspired by the venerable architect Frank Lloyd Wright’s stained glass window designs. The Frank Cage draws influence from the Saguaro Forms and Tree of Life designs. The Saguaro Forms design was originally made for the a 1928 cover of Liberty Magazine. Wright had been commissioned to make a series of 12 illustrations for the magazines monthly issues but upon submission of the works the magazine’s editor rejected the designs as “too radical” to be used as cover art. Still, he held onto the design and used it for the cover of a series of lectures in 1930. After a fire at the Arizona Biltmore in 1973, the Saguaro Forms design was chosen from the archives to be and rendered into stained glass as a part of the Biltmore reconstruction. The Tree of Life design was made for the bedrooms of the Darwin D. Martin House in Buffalo, New York. The house was built between 1903 and 1905 and featured a vast array of stained glass centering on angular, geometric forms. #bespoked #bikepacking #bikepackingbags #cargocages #bestoked

I have been a fan of @l__ermitage for many years now. When I decided to launch Parsec Objects he was the first designer I thought about reaching out to. His illustrations are so playful and inviting they always bring me a smile. I asked him if he had any designs that he really liked but never found a home for and this adventurous chain worm was right at the top of the list. I like to think of it as the “hang in there cat” of bikepacking. 🤷‍♂️🪱 #bespoked #illustration #bikepacking

The second object is Custom Dry Bags. This is the Wildflowers Dry Bag. Designed by my wife @crdimalla This design is driven by our love of wildflowers. Spotting tiny, intricate and alluring flowers while riding is my favorite reason to stop for a break while riding and pairs well with snack stops. 🪻🌼🌻 #bespoked #bikepacking #wildflowers
