Below the surface, there’s a whole park worth protecting. The @sharkbanz team traveled to St. Croix in the US Virgin Islands to visit our giveback partner @coralrestorationfoundation and what they found looked a lot like a national park. Underwater trails. Schools of fish in colors you can’t quite believe. The kind of beauty that makes you stop & appreciate nature. Here’s what’s at stake: coral reefs are the foundation of an entire underwater ecosystem and losing them would be unlike anything the natural world has seen. @coralrestorationfoundation is working to make sure that doesn’t happen - growing coral in underwater nurseries, outplanting it back onto the reef, restoring genetic diversity so ecosystems can adapt and survive.
