Every organism begins somewhere. For Itansha, like many realities, it began with a nucleus - a structure with the potential to adapt, replicate, and evolve. Each expression is a variation. Each variation leaves a trace. Over time, a pattern emerges - not fixed, but familiar. Itansha is built to evolve. What it becomes depends on how it’s used.

Publication design and creative direction for DISMANTLE, a photography book that challenges the conventional perceptions of Malawi. Created by Zahir Elias—an eclectic fashion designer, illustrator, drag queen, actor, poet, and stage performer—and Elena Petitti di Roreto, a film director and photographer, the book captures their shared journey through Malawi.

The book can be read from two sides, creating a conflicting narrative and perspective: one side explores the traditional village life, celebrating the customs and communal spirit that define Malawi’s cultural roots, while the other side dives into the contemporary youth culture and progressive underground scene.

I am very proud to present the latest detail of the @demon____official project. The bespoke DMN-EPITAPH typeface, built to mark the occasion of the new website and global commerce store.

The typeface flirts between heavy historical references and mechanical components, each speaking to multiple levels of our research to date, including early electronics, Italian archeology and monospaced structures.

The word-mark is crafted along both vertical and horizontal axes, with the emblem taking form from the mushroom icon, synonymous with hiking and foraging.

I worked closely with @alberto___deon on the revitalisation of all brand assets, logo, brand system, web, and garment labelings during its series of disparate launches and product drops.

The third aria in the film contains a visual composition of Henry Purcell's Dido and Aeneas, projecting a visual soundscape rendered from depth scans and machine driven processes, seeking to unlock a new facet within opera.
