Simak perjalanan knitting Pak Yanny sejak pertama kali mulai belajar di bulan April 2025, menyelesaikan sepasang kaus kaki selama sebulan sebagai proyek pertamanya (pakai benang Simple Sock dan needles 2.5mm). ✨NEW FO ✨ she hasn't had her moment on the grid yet, but here's the (delayed) finished Wening Ribbed Top from my test knit for @amelia_put @papiput earlier this year ❤️ feels hella stylish/timeless with a mock neck and saddle shoulder construction, which makes it a great wardrobe piece! swipe to see my "green knit relay" where I pass the torch on to the next green knit project 🤭 💚 will have to beg the husband to get more modelled pics later! so much sewing for the 2x2 tubular bind off for this (body and 2x armholes), and it's hard picking up armhole armhole stitches in 2.75mm(!!), but so worth it for detailed polish ✨ I'm finally in that era where I would rather sew a bind off just because I love how it looks... ALSO if you make this, it'll look like a baby/dog-size garment and people WILL constantly ask you if it'll fit (I had to demonstrate it SO many times like some magic trick)...but so long as your gauge is there, trust the process - and the stretchy rib! pattern: #weningtop by Amelia Putri yarn: Simple Sock in Kalimantan by Papiput size: 3 (used just under 2 skeins for my size) mods: picked up all rows for armhole stitches, then decreased immediately in the first round to correct size(makes the pickup super neat compared to skipping rows)
