Seen across Milan Design Week - Catifa Carta by Arper, made in PaperShell.
From the Red Lounge to SaloneSatellite and the International Business Lounge.
A journey also extended to “Abito,” the exhibition promoted by the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation and curated by Palomba Serafini Associati, exploring the relationship between design, culture and identity.

Transforming an industrial icon for the new era.
The corrugated profile is one of the most recognisable shapes in human industrial history. Born in the industrial revolution, it helped industrialise entire continents. It was lightweight, strong and cheap, a perfect geometry for a world racing into modernity. But it was also built on fossil intensive processes, in a time when carbon emissions was not the priority.
Two centuries later, PaperShell is rewriting this iconic geometry for a new industrial era. Ready to plug-and-play at large scale 2026.

Replacing fossil facades by staying true to its nature.
We at PaperShell are very proud and honoured to have been selected by The European Climate, Infrastructure and Environment Executive Agency (CINEA) to the Grant Agreement Preparation phase under the EU Innovation Fund 2024, one of the world’s largest climate-innovation
programmes.
The €83 million planned expansion will scale PaperShell’s Tibro-based factory, increasing production of fossil-free and
load bearing components.
Up to €40.3 million of the total investment is expected to be co-funded through the EU Innovation Fund, given to the successful conclusion of the Grant Agreement.

Just showcasing a 100% biogenic wall panel. 3 mm thin, 3D shaped, and mounted in minutes.
Lighter than aluminium, stronger than plastic, and more versatile than glass fiber, Tide panel challenges traditional cladding materials.
Read more about PaperShell for Architecture and Tide panel on our website.
Refined and reborn, the Tide panel returns with a new geometry designed for both exterior and interior surfaces. With simple, natural lines, it plays with light and shadow, bringing the surface to life.
Made by pressing paper into three-dimensional form, PaperShell offers a unique, biogenic alternative to traditional materials.
Closing the loop on an industrial scale.
Together with @essungaplantskola , PaperShell transforms production residues and NOK components into biochar, a powerful soil enhancer that helps plants thrive in urban environments. The result is a circular and resilient system, where waste becomes growth.

Last week at Climate Week NYC was both inspiring and energizing. 🌍
We had the privilege to join multiple meaningful discussion and forums on materials, construction and infrastructure.
The need for scalable climate solutions has never been bigger.
At PaperShell, we are ready to act and our material is available at scale.
Our mission is to prove that high-performance, bio-based materials can be fossil-free, circular, and economically viable.
We are proud to support @polestarcars at Climate Week NYC, where attention is given to the important Polestar 0 project and its moonshot goal to create a completely climate-neutral car by decarbonising materials and production.
As a collaborator to Polestar 0, PaperShell contributes with fossil free material know-how on the journey toward eliminating emissions in the mobility sector.
“At Climate Week NYC, we will challenge industry, policymakers and consumers to move beyond outdated technologies and accelerate the shift to clean mobility.”, says Fredrika Klarén, Polestar Head of Sustainability.
