Milan Design Week.
- From April 20 to 26, we took part in Isola Design Festival during Milan Design Week with Urban Collective, presenting Oasi in Città in collaboration with Aura, Maddie Is in the Air with Madeinadd, and Corpo with Scandurra and NLComp.
- Also at Isola Design Festival, Ornamentale, a project by D’Alesio&Santoro developed within the Design Momentum program, was showcased in The New State of Materials by Materially.
- From April 21 to 26, we joined the final exhibition of the creative residency developed together with POLI.design, UID University (Karnavati University), D-house Laboratorio Urbano, and Puntozero and Isola Design.
- During the same days at Palazzo Litta, Duondolo, an outdoor furniture piece by Osmotica was on display. Duondolo was brought to life thanks to Designtech, Puntozero, and Caracol.
- On April 21, CoFactory hosted the first stop of a Certosa District tour organized by RealStep for POLI.design students.
- On April 23, we welcomed an event by Würth for the launch of their new brand, Athimus.
- Last but not least, on April 24, CoFactory hosted the presentation of Il Biciclettario, a project by Designtech in collaboration with Lombardini22, Erratic, Kindof, and Calchera San Giorgio, featuring a live performance by Erratic, who 3D printed a prototype on site.
Same city. Same week. So many connections.

In celebration of the national Made in Italy day, yesterday CoFactory hosted Gen Z Lab Young Visions vs Old Patterns by D-house laboratorio urbano (Pattern Group), a day dedicated to the future of fashion, skills, and the next generation of talent.
Students, creatives, and industry professionals came together to discuss one of the key challenges for the future of Made in Italy: preserving and evolving know-how across generations.
Through talks, workshops, and shared ideas, the day became a space for dialogue between experience and new perspectives.
Because the future of Made in Italy is not only about products, it’s about education, people, and passing knowledge forward.

Yesterday at CoFactory, we hosted a new session of our Design Momentum Program in collaboration with Framis.
It was an inspiring workshop on open innovation, where a collaborative team came together to generate functional and visionary ideas, guided through interactive design thinking by Jelena Tasic Pizzolato.
We were also thankful for the valuable contributions of Valerio Cometti from V12 and Eva Monachini and Andrea Bernardini from our resident member D-house laboratorio urbano.
A big thank you to all the participants who joined us and to the fantastic team of Framis: Matteo Foglietta, Luca Salvato, Marco Bernardi, Federico Pizzo, Thomas Gilardoni and Elisa Villa.

With the exhibition India Meets Italy for Milan Design Week now officially concluded, the first Creative Residence has come to an end - a journey coordinated by POLI.design that brought together Designtech and Unitedworld Institute of Design (Karnavati University, India) under its academic umbrella, hosting the students for a semester of hands-on collaboration.
This experience was enriched by the valuable contribution of our resident members: D-house laboratorio urbano for the fashion workshop, Puntozero for the product workshop, and Isola Design for both the communication and interior design workshops.
We are grateful to have shared this journey for these past few months, and we hope it marks the beginning of many more creative residencies at CoFactory, with the goal of making education increasingly interactive and closely connected to the professional world.
A heartfelt thank you to all residents, project partners, and students who took part in this experience.
A special thanks goes to the Indian Consul, Lavanya Kumar, who honored us with his presence during the opening of the exhibition at the Politecnico di Milano, Bovisa Campus.

Aura at the Isola Design Festival.
Part of the Urban Collective Project by @designtech.hub and supported by Isola.
Oasi in Città by @aurasystem , is conceived as a transitional space between urban space and the domestic sphere, where greenery becomes an architectural and narrative element. The vertical greenery is not intended as a mere decorative element, but as an integral part, capable of improving environmental comfort.
