A Reverie in Herfstwinter’s Nights is a nocturnal project that seeks to engage with the natural spaces of Amsterdam during autumn and winter nights. Join us at Zone2Source this winter for Slow Turning Between Two Lights, a two-week project unfolding through sound and movement, poetry and wandering. In the gentle hibernation from one year into the next, we transition slowly and explore inner landscapes in the midst of Amstelpark. Zone2Source will become a space for collective listening, moving, sound making and word voicing. In the first week, the artists work behind glass, embracing the quiet intimacy of rehearsal and exploration. Visible but closed, this phase allows us to listen deeply and experiment in the fleeting winter light. The second week they invite other creatives to join and become part of the inner landscape. They also open the space for your participation—step inside, wander with us, and discover the rhythms of time and transitions through unscripted, collective moments. Week 1 (Closed Rehearsals): 30 December 2024 – 5 January 2025 Week 2 (Open Rehearsals): 6 January – 11 January 2025 Public Presentation: 12 January 2025 Programme ends by 5:30 PM daily About Spatieknop Spatieknop collective embraces slowness and silence, opening up spaces where improvisation and spontaneous growth are possible. We take inspiration from our personal and shared histories, creating spacial experiences through movement, sound and poetry. In doing so, we explore alternative ways of engaging with audiences, inviting them to become part of our woven inner-landscapes.

𝑺𝒐, 𝒕𝒉𝒊𝒔…𝒊𝒔 𝒕𝒉𝒊𝒔? is a project I developed during my residency at @extrapoolnl , where I used Risograph printing and materials from the space to explore its layered and spatial character.
Through repetitive lines and surfaces, I explored a sense of parallel timelines embedded within the structure, transforming elements like bricks and leftover paper piles into visual expressions of time and transition. One notable element in the work is a section of the space that was once part of the building’s exterior. The middle bar visible in the image is from an old window frame, a detail I used to trace connections between past and present.
A black opening in the wall shifted perspectives between ‘inside’ and ‘outside,’ inviting reflections on movement, boundaries, and the quiet shifts that occur within spaces over time. A heartfelt thank-you to @extrapoolnl and everyone who made this project possible. Special thanks to @lucassloot and @odetvh for your thoughtful organization
Thank you to @astrid.ardagh for your expertise with Risograph printing and for making it all come together, and to @annadevriend , for helping me realise the texture of tangible paper pulp. I’m also grateful for sharing this journey with my inspiring group of fellow artists: @tamnelck , @jaantjeanna , @brittvandenboogaard @duckpekker @alma_van_woudenberg_art And it was a great pleasure to meet you at the exhibition @lu_lin_l
