Stage 17 | Giro d’Italia 2025
🚴🏔️🇮🇹🍕
Cycling is a huge part of my life, for the better part of the last 7 years, it’s been a lifestyle that has pretty much dictated my life - early to bed, early to rise, long hours, failure, triumph and cherished time spent with close mates.
When the opportunity came to spend a week cycling in Italy with some of my oldest and dearest friends, as well as a few new legends - I didn’t think twice. A dream trip!

After a few days of classic Italian climbs, we set off from Bormio heading to Mazzo di Valtellina to climb up the mighty, and I mean MIGHTY, Passo di Mortirolo - 12.2kms and an average gradient of 10.8%. A climb steeped in history, lore and a formidable presence.
Beers, extra layers, cameras, snacks… all stuffed into the musette. Honestly, my worst nightmare - I usually aim to carry as little as possible, ride fast and feel free. Today we had a different agenda…
We camped over the crest on the far side of the climb, waiting for the pros to come charging through. The air was buzzing with energy hours before the race even reached us, fans were already trading predictions and streaming the live coverage on their phones. Kids, dogs, motorbikes, flags - pure chaos, but somehow beautifully in sync.
Anyways, enough musing - swipe for some shots 💥📸🌀
Grateful for movement, community and being a part of a bigger picture 🌐
