Last night, we gathered at the Omni Boston Hotel at the Seaport for the 2026 PMC Heavy Hitter Evening, a celebration of generosity, impact, and the unwavering commitment of the PMC community.
Throughout the evening, guests heard powerful insights from PMC and Dana-Farber Cancer Institute leadership and longtime PMC riders, including Billy Starr, Dr. Benjamin Ebert, Dr. George Demetri, Dr. Suzanne George, Paul Schaye, and Nicole Kaitz, with additional remarks from Josh Bekenstein and Meredith Beaton Starr.
Their messages were clear: now, more than ever, PMC funding is fueling critical advancements at @danafarber and supporting the doctor–patient relationships that define lifesaving cancer care in Boston and around the world.

Today, the PMC announced that CEO, Jarrett Collins, will step down at the end of 2026 after a seven-year tenure on the PMC staff.
“Serving the PMC has been a tremendous honor,” said Jarrett. “I am grateful to my dedicated co-workers, whose talent and commitment have improved the PMC every year, and to the remarkable cadre of riders, volunteers, and sponsors who are the heart of our success. I intend to ride and fundraise for the PMC’s mission for many years to come.”
