Husband-and-wife duo Shovels & Rope hail from the South Carolina low country, & have spent well over a decade crafting a gritty, genre-blurring sound that mixes folk, rock, country, and punk influences. Trading harmonies and MANY instruments throughout their sets, Michael Trent and Cary Ann Hearst deliver live shows that feel both deeply personal and high-energy.
