The Yettugadé Swara segment of a Varnam is something that always captures the imagination of a dancer. The music rises, the pulse quickens and the narrative is launched into its next chapter with gusto.
The point of this Workshop is to explore one such beautiful Yettugadé in a shared rehearsal, discover how multiple bodies amplify the energy of the music, how dancing alongside others augments the stamina of the moving body, how joy acts as a potent catalyst for the actualisation of Dance.
In short, come let’s have fun dancing together on a warm summer morning!
Oh, and how can we not learn a beautiful Jathi also?

The idea is to spend three intense hours really surrendering to the magic of rythm, technique and intensity that is embodied in a Trikala Jathi.
