Chittaswaram unfolding.. Here’s the story- a little boy is deeply intrigued by the beautiful song “Brōchēvārevaru ra” which he’s been watching on the TV (the movie Shankarabharanam more specifically). He too tries singing along with the young boy in the TV as he’s taught when suddenly the power goes off. Then he falls asleep and starts to dream, living the entire composition, dancing, talking and playing with the divine characters in it.
Aren’t dreams amazing? You see something and then something else happens out of nowhere. Probably here’s where our little boy picked up the cymbals while dancing (my understanding), then put them down and convinced Sri Rama that he simply wont leave His divine feet (charaṇāmbujamulu). This piece is a beautiful interpretation to the kriti, composed by Sri Mysore Vasudevacharya.
