A 22-year-old patient reportedly underwent a second surgery after surgical forceps were allegedly left inside his chest during an open-heart procedure at the Faisalabad Institute of Cardiology (FIC), officials and reports said.
According to details, Saqlain, a resident of Toba Tek Singh, underwent surgery on April 4 for a congenital heart defect, performed by cardiologist Dr Zaigham Rasool.
