We tried a few of their zero-proof drinks and they were absolutely on point. I personally loved the Calabrian Honey Ricotta Toast and the S’mores Cheesecake, while my husband couldn’t stop talking about the Deviled Eggs and the Fried Brussels & Cauliflower.
From the food to the overall vibe, everything felt so warm and welcoming. Already looking forward to coming back again soon 🤍

Longtime fans of @q39kc , so seeing them open in Lawrence feels like a full-circle moment.
And during Women’s History Month, it’s also the perfect time to spotlight the woman leading it all — Kelly Magee.
@q39kc started on the BBQ competition circuit before becoming one of the most loved Kansas City BBQ restaurants. After losing her husband and co-founder Rob in 2021, Kelly stepped in to lead the brand and carry forward their chef-driven, pit-to-plate BBQ legacy.
Now that legacy has a new home near Mass Street in Lawrence.
