On May 12, Mayor Karen Bass hosted the City’s first-ever Latino Business Procurement Summit, connecting more than 350 entrepreneurs with billions of dollars in upcoming contract opportunities. As Los Angeles prepares for the 2026 FIFA World Cup, the 2027 Super Bowl, and the LA28 Games, we are ensuring our local businesses are the first to benefit! We were excited to join the summit as exhibitors, providing vital technical resources through our ProcureLA and BusinessSource Center programs. Whether it’s 1-on-1 training or assistance with proposal development, we are here to help you get contract-ready. A huge shoutout to our dedicated staff, Jennifer, Andrew, Vartoohi, Humera, David, Osmany, Yarelid, and Kevin, who managed our exhibition booths and connected with hundreds of local business owners! We were also honored to have our leadership, Kerry Doi (CEO) and Sarah Park (COO), join the event to extend our network and strengthen partnerships across the city. As Mayor Bass noted: "When you succeed, our entire city thrives." Missed us at the booth? Visit to learn how to access the $45 million in contracts already secured through the ProcureLA program. #ProcureLA #LAmayor #LatinoBusiness #SmallBizSuccess #ContractReady #LA28 #PACELA #BusinessSourceCenter #KarenBass #WorkforceDevelopment #ShopLocalLA #LosAngelesBusiness #Entrepreneurship
