We would like to take a moment of reflection to address the ongoing protests in our city, as our neighbors throughout Los Angeles stand up for our fellow community members. KYCC stands in solidarity with our immigrant clients, families, and community, advocating for our safety, security, and dignity as residents of Los Angeles' Koreatown, Pico Union, and Westlake. We will engage in discussions about upcoming events with our clients and community, ensuring that we can continue to provide essential services while prioritizing the safety of all of our residents. We believe that by working together, we can foster an environment of understanding and positive change. Our commitment to social justice and equity remains steadfast, and we are dedicated to amplifying the voices of those who are often unheard.
In challenging times like these, KYCC is a trusted resource to help provide safe spaces and meet the needs of our families, clients, and greater community. We love Koreatown — it's our home and we belong here.
Thank you for your ongoing trust, partnership, and support. #KYCCLA

5/1: LA creatives, this
Still in school? Get paid to serve.
College Corps pays students to serve their communities while building skills tied to what they’re studying. Real income. Real experience. A stronger future after graduation.
KSP deepened its community-rooted work by conducting 62 interviews exploring traditional healing practices across Latine and API communities, uplifting the voices of acupuncturists, herbalists, shamans, and curanderas.
This effort contributes to The K-Town Atlas, preserving the rich history and culture of Koreatown through audio recordings and personal narratives from residents and local businesses. Stories span generations and experiences, from the legacies of Western Avenue to reflections on the 1992 Los Angeles Civil Unrest.
With 57 intergenerational oral history interviews collected, this work ensures that community knowledge, resilience, and lived experiences are documented and shared for years to come.

Building stronger family connections through play, music, and shared experiences! 💛 Through activities like Family Pickleball and Family Storytelling Through Music, KYCC’s Prevention and Aftercare Program workshops create opportunities for caregivers and children to bond, strengthen communication, and build lasting memories together.
“It was so fun to play pickleball with my kids and do something together as a family! I’m excited to do this again with my kids!” — Parent Participant

Part 2 from Koreatown Storytelling Program's Stop the Hate campaign. In this video, Koreatown youth share their thoughts on the ICE raids in L.A. and how they have impacted their views on safety in K-Town.
KSP collaborated with ES for KYCC's Stop the Hate campaign through a community event series in February and March. Community members were invited to create a communal chalk mural and maintain utility boxes. KSP interviewed attendees about their thoughts on safety in Koreatown and how we can contribute in creating a safer environment.
On April 16, KYCC proudly celebrated our 19th Annual Fore Children and Families Golf Classic at @stawberryfarms Golf Club, bringing together community partners, sponsors, supporters, and friends for a meaningful day on the course in support of the children and families we serve.
Hear directly from some of our incredible sponsors as they share why they continue to support KYCC and our mission. Their partnership helps make events like this possible and strengthens the impact we can make together in our community.
A heartfelt thank you to all of our players, sponsors, volunteers, and staff who joined us and helped make this year’s tournament such a success. Your generosity, enthusiasm, and continued support truly made the day unforgettable!
This AANHPI Heritage Month, AADAP proudly honors Koreatown Youth and Community Center (KYCC) — an organization with a long-standing history of partnership and shared community impact alongside AADAP.
Founded in 1975 as the Korean Youth Center (KYC), the organization was created to support the growing Korean American community in Koreatown through culturally relevant programs for youth and families, including after-school tutoring, summer enrichment, parent education, outreach, and prevention services.
With the dedication of leaders like Rev. Paul Chun, Jane Kim, Inhwan Kim, Dr. Samuel Rhee, Ron Wakabayashi, and many others, KYC grew into an independent nonprofit organization in 1983 and eventually became KYCC.
Today, @KYCCLA continues to uplift multicultural communities across Los Angeles through advocacy, education, and community care. We are proud to continue standing alongside KYCC in empowering and supporting AAPI communities.
