🎓 Our Interim Dean Professor Mette Morsing welcomes our new Oxford MBA students.
💭 ‘I am proud to have you in the room with me today,’ said Professor Morsing to 333 of the best and brightest students we have welcomed to study in #Oxford.
🌍 ‘You are part of a big global community, with thousands of people … take advantage of that now (and in future). This is your first day but this is going to be a remarkable year … this is a transformative year - the transformative journey of your lifetime.’
🏦 Our new MBAs also heard from Rupert Soames, Chair of the CBI (Confederation of British Industry)
💡 They have a fortnight of launch events ahead, including a climate bootcamp, micro-certifications in AI prompt engineering, careers workshops, and keynote addresses. Good luck to our brilliant new MBA cohort.

🚀 In today’s fast-moving business environment, the pressure to deliver rapid results can be intense. But as Oxford Saïd Executive MBA student and The Times Non-Executive Director of the Year Nick Thain explains, sustainable success is rarely built in haste.
Drawing on his experience across leadership and governance roles, Nick highlights the importance of establishing strong foundations rooted in clear company values. From the earliest stages, these principles shape culture, guide decision-making, and create the conditions for long-term resilience and growth.
Rather than chasing short-term gains, Nick advocates for a more deliberate approach - one that prioritises purpose, consistency, and integrity.
