The Lockers #20 First off, we got @oxarzero , who moves through electro, techno, and experimental club music. Blurring reality and the surreal, their practice takes listeners on journeys through sonic wonderlands shaped by fractured rhythms, acid textures, and unstable structures that explore tension, perception, and groove. @socialxcrisis is an upcoming dj/organiser from Estonia while currently based in Brussels. The name reflects the duality of his sound, as he uses music to explore the complexities of the modern world by balancing the darkness and the light in his mixes with deep minimal grooves and techy twists to add some quirkiness. @ivyfoederer is an artist born and raised in The Hague. She is driven by electro, heavy basslines, breaks, and acid influences, bringing raw energy and an underground feeling to every performance. Her sound creates a dynamic, bass-driven experience that keeps dancefloor moving. Finally, @sbs_simon explores authenticity through sound and changes within entrenched systems. I AM SANDSTORM. It is a post-performance performance. An absurdist act of autotheory exploring the surreal condition of post-modern living: a pure act of resistance against conformity. Lost in a vast landscape of dunes, an individual sees only sand in every direction. One colour. One taste. One dimension. Everything is purely an infinite repetition of sameness. In the principle of enantiodromia, the way out becomes the way in. The only escape is to let go of form and imposed structure and transform into the sandstorm. Enantiodromia comes from Eraclito: the transformation of an extreme in its opposite. This work is an exhortation to accept your own diversity, to liste the others feeling, to care about them, to differentiate from the others, and probably an auto-theory to escape depression and the feeling of never fitting, and many other sub-layers. It is an interactive piece in which the audience is asked to take part and to identify with the desert. Inspired by Dora Kalff, the script ask you to reconnect with playing in order to absorb the underlining meaning. It is a tribute to my parents which as Junghian Sandplay therapists grow me with a different point of view on this world. The sound exploit my critical complex resonant systems and a electronic composition creating a onyric state. 𝙒𝙝𝙮 𝙖𝙧𝙚𝙣’𝙩 𝙮𝙤𝙪 𝙝𝙚𝙧𝙚 ? Ox: As Loona decided to explore the retroscene of a clown life and its body movement, I continue my exploration of Junghian Theory. I see the clown masks as the process of wearing a persona to cover the turbulent psychic landscape. Who get hurt when we get hurt, and who get hurt when we hurt ? How many time do we have to crash before we lose our ability to feel ? With a personal method for automatic writing I let my Anima archetype speak through my hand. During a long depression I let her disappear in the shadow, and she is questioning why I left her fading alone in the dark corner of the shadow. I choose Italian to test a deeper and primal connection with the audience. The text performance was non linear and iterative, becoming a complex dynamic mantra.
