Hello! I booked a show! It’s happening @currentspace on Saturday June 15th. @matchesse is the project of Whitney Johnson and it’s great. Typically viola, voice, organ, tapes. This tour Matchess will be a 3 pieces. Joined by @circuitdesyeux and @l.u.l.a__._ consider my curiosity piqued! What will happen? To round out the bill I’ve asked @murderboats and @jer_hy to bring some sounds to share. Should be an wonderful night. Deep listeners to the front but feel free to come hang regardless. This is a hard post to make. Saturday will be the last Wume show for the foreseeable future. I’m sad but also happy that my band mate is pursuing her dream and going back to school in CA. Wume has been my main creative project for the past 12 years. Its always been the perfect project for me. Fun and challenging in the best way. A combination of new sounds and familiar ones. It’s been a good way to shake out my anxiety and my general “feeling weird in the world-ness”. Thank you all those who have helped us along the way.
