📣 New concerts announced at Milton Court Concert Hall, Barbican Centre for our 2026/27 season!
We’re delighted to return to Milton Court Concert Hall next season with two very different and exciting programmes.
In October, join us for A Whole New World, a celebratory concert of unforgettable songs by Alan Menken with the BBC Concert Orchestra and conductor Owain Park. From Aladdin and The Little Mermaid, to Beauty and the Beast, Sister Act and other Broadway favourites, we’ll be bringing the magic of these shows to the stage.
Then in April, we turn to music of reflection in Voices of Lament, exploring powerful musical settings of the Lamentations of Jeremiah. Featuring works by Thomas Tallis, Cassandra Miller and Nico Muhly, conducted by Peter Phillips.

🎥 The BBC Singers are proud to be part of the BBC Get Singing programme – a brand new music education initiative to get 11-14 year olds singing together in and out of the classroom.
Here we are performing Cat Burns’s song ‘live more & love more’, arranged by Hannah King. Keep an eye out for more BBC Get Singing coming your way soon!
All songs in the project come with specially filmed performances, activity films, scores, backing tracks and guidance notes.

🎄What a night!
On Thursday, we celebrated A Christmas Odyssey with the brilliant Adrian Scarborough at Milton Court Concert Hall.
It was an evening filled with festive cheer, from traditional carols and A Muppet Christmas Carol medley to music by Adrian Peacock, Elizabeth Poston, Richard Rodgers, and Bob Chilcott. Our Principal Guest Conductor Owain Park led the way, and we were joined by brass and percussion from Aurora Orchestra and pianist Iain Farrington.
Celebrated actor Adrian Scarborough brought warmth and wit with readings from Hans Christian Andersen, P. G. Wodehouse, and Charles Dickens throughout the night, moving the audience from laughter to tears.

It was fabulous to be back in Krakow with @capella_cracoviensis performing Gluck’s “Orfeo ed Euridice”. Great cast, top pierogi and Krakow giving all the Christmas feels. Bliss!

It’s Orfeo ed Euridice, the 1762 Vienna version. Next week the choir (and enlarged orchestra!) are doing the later French version.
