🌀🌱💕 details of @suziehowell_ ’s ‘a bowl of tears to drink’. This book brings together three different printing processes – offset, letterpress and laser – and multiple handmade elements.
Each dust jacket has been individually letterpress printed and folded on pre-faded sugar paper. These will continue to fade over time. Making each copy unique. Under this the books cover is debossed with a pearlescent foil and the book block is sewn in a red thread. A short text has been taped into every copy. Different parts printed in different places and bought together in our Oval Press studio.
this book has been a labour of love from me and @suziehowell_ for the past 18 months. Every single detail has been considered and talked through. Hundreds of hours have gone into it. Copies are limited and selling fast. These are the last few days to order the book and/or print for the presale price.

Whiplash Memorial (WIP)
This artist made book is a reminiscing on the memories and architecture of The Westway and Ladbroke Grove streets I grew up in. Limited to only 70 copies. There are only a few left.
Slide 5: Grenfell Tower circa '06. As it's being demolished, without community support, and there have been no arrests or charges – this is what it looked like before the fire. Before RBKC council tendered 'regeneration' work to private contractors who used substandard cladding to save costs. But at the cost of so much. 💚 Grenfell Forever 💚
