🏰Our Hackney Memories Tower is now on display in St. Augustine's Tower!
🖌️The Hackney Memories Tower was made by the Stamford Hill Library resident artists with Southwold care home residents, year 4 pupils at Holmleigh Primary School and library customers. It's decorated with our favourite places and memories of Hackney.
✨Come along to see the artwork inside of the real tower!
St Augustine's Tower will be open:
🗓️ 11 May, 2-4.30pm for @hackneyhistoryfest
🗓️ 25 May, 2-4.30pm
A big thank you to CLS: Home Visit Library for all your help on the project.

What an amazing day the Stokey Winter Fest was! A huge thank you to everyone that took part, we hope you all had a great day!
A special thank you to @locationlocationlondon for sponsoring the Grotto, and @tower_theatre_london for hosting as well as to @spencebakery for providing their delicious mince pies!
Of course not forgetting @outputarts who ran a printing workshop and decorated the Stokey Giving Tree with the help of year 5 at @william_patten_school_n16
Thank you also to JMGlendining and @hackneycouncil for supporting the whole day and @michaelnaikandco for sponsoring our Hackney Giving Tree!
The StokeNewington Christmas tree, outside the Fire Station on Church Street, looking lovely, decorated with food can lanterns.
The food can labels were designed and made by year 5 pupils from William Patten school @william_patten_school_n16 in a workshop led by studio colleagues @outputarts@jonathanhogg@andy.dcruzart and myself.
The kids did a fantastic job and created imaginative cans of food to raise awareness and support the work of @hackneyfoodbank in conjunction with @seeyouinstokey .
Donations of food desperately needed please give to @hackneyfoodbank (local shops on Church Street are also collecting).
....and look out for the OutputArts stars appearing in the Old Church graveyard and on the front of St Paul's.

Our sun installation made for the @seeyouinstokey FUNdraiser last night and now hanging in @theoldchurchn16 for the foreseeable (as it’s not leaving the building in one piece! 😂)
We auctioned off a more home-sized version as part of the night…

Wonderful couple of hours this afternoon at Hackney Central library @hackneylibraries with the ‘Time for Tea’ project chatting and drawing.
One of our funded projects, the Time for Tea project is a collaboration between @outputarts and @ioelondon Karen Schucan Bird together with people with experience of domestic abuse. Today’s workshop invited library goers to have a cup of tea, a biscuit and a chat whilst creating their own drawing.
We’re looking to bring the project to showcase @ucleastcampus too so watch this space!
