When we say we cover everything under warranty, we mean it. One simple rule: be kind and honest with us. Why?
KIND: because âdonât be a dickâ should be universal life policy for dealing with all people, especially these days, and we want our staff treated with respect while they help fix whatever happened, for free.
HONEST: because we donât want to hear âdude I was JRA and it explodedâ if it was an honest mistake or user error, so that we understand HOW something went wrong, as we donât just throw new product at problems hoping it wonât happen again. As my old GM used to say, âhope is not a strategy,â đ which really just means donât just sit and hope things will be better, make them better.
So if you have a product from us that genuinely failed, tell us exactly what happened so we can make damn sure it never happens again.
OR, if, just for example, you just got bored and ripped apart your light and canât put it back together (pic 1), maybe donât do that next time, but just tell us that, and weâll take care of you. Or if you crashed light-first into a rock garden (2), we cover that. Or if your dog literally used your light as a chew toy (3), we got you. Or if you left your light on the roof of your truck and it came off on the highway then got run over multiple times (4), itâs ok, we cover that too. Just follow the rules: kind and honest.

I will never not post @remymetailler riding insane Squamish slabs in the rain with our lights. Fanbois rejoice, this is unhinged. đł
RĂŠmy is known for his meticulous preparation in the approach to riding the gnarliest, steepest lines where precision and control are absolutely everything. He does not fuck around and find out, he surveys, he plans, he visualizes, then executes flawlessly. Thatâs why it was so cool to get this direct quote from RĂŠmy: âI just came back from my first night ride! Holy shit, the lights are insane. Easy to use, so wide and bright. I rode the gnarliest terrain around no problem.â
Simply put, if the lights werenât good enough, he sure as shit wouldnât be attempting lines like this in the dark. Cannot wait to see more from this madman.

Bicycle lights on an F1 car? F*cking right they are. đ¤
We got a last minute request to send a pile of our Hangover helmet lights to the @redbullracing #F1 team to shoot a video for the Las Vegas race, of course we couldnât pass that up. They specifically sought our products out because they looked more engineered, more appropriate for both the fastest F1 car in the world, and their entire pit crew (who wanted to keep them for future use). Gotta say, thatâs just f*cking cool.
@amrook wrote up a quick article about it, read more about it out on @cyclingweeklymagazine at the link in our bio.

Proper lighting is critical to ride in the dark, even more so on Rampage jump linesâŚtake a closer look at the Outbound Lighting setup @christian.peper used to do exactly that, with confidence. đ¤
It should come as no surprise that we are big fans of @outboundlighting over here at Sheehy Labs. When we heard they were releasing their own taillight, we were as stoked as the rest of the cycling community. We are also happy to report that our quarter turn mounts are compatible with Outbound's new Blade light ... a cycling dream team! đ¤

Our first tail light isnât just about power. We did what we do: designed a complex optical system to make you and your bike as visible as possible from all angles. What exactly does Blade do?
⢠Creates a large light guide that is easier to see than a tiny point source (like automotive tail lights)
⢠Shapes the rear beam to be extremely intense directly behind you for drivers coming up fast while also cutting off blinding glare to cyclists drafting behind you
⢠Tapers the red output to a bright amber side beam to improve acuity through color variance (like automotive indicators) so you can be seen at intersections and in the next lane
⢠Illuminates the back of your bike and your legs so drivers at night can have an immediate sense of scale and motion, so they know what you are and how far away you are
Like all our products, we put the light precisely where itâs needed, not wasted, so you can get massive runtimes without compromising visibility.
Power is nothing without control.
So if you want people to see you or youâd prefer not to be struck by a motor vehicle, maybe take a look at Blade. Live on our website now.

Conte to Campaign Argonaut Motor Club Peugeot 208 Rally4 at 100 Acre Wood Rally
Argonaut Motor Club will field Matthew Conte, Owner and Founder of Outbound Lighting, in the teamâs Peugeot 208 Rally4 at next weekâs 100 Acre Wood Rally, marking his return to the Missouri event for the first time in a decade.
Conte last competed at 100 Acre Wood ten years ago, when a high-profile accident brought his rally outing to an abrupt end. The moment became widely shared across the rally community and ultimately marked a turning point that led Conte to step away from the sport and focus on building what would become Outbound Lighting.
Now returning to the same fast Missouri stages, Conte will make his first start in an FIA-homologated Rally4 car with the Argonaut Motor Club prepared Peugeot 208 Rally4. While experienced in rally competition, the event will serve as his introduction to modern Rally4 machinery as he continues preparations for his own O2WD challenger currently under development.
The 100 Acre Wood Rally is widely known for hosting some of the fastest stages in American rally, demanding commitment and precision from drivers across its sweeping gravel roads.
Chris Bauer, Director of Motorsport for Argonaut Motor Club, welcomed Conte to the team for the event.
âWeâre excited to have Matt give the 208 a shot,â said Bauer. âWe know he has the skill to compete and give the car a good showing.â
For Conte, the rally represents both a return to competition and a meaningful return to an event that played a defining role in his motorsport journey.
The team now turns its focus to the fast Missouri stages ahead of next weekâs 100 Acre Wood Rally.
Updates from the event will be shared across Argonaut Motor Clubâs social channels throughout the rally weekend.
