Genie in a bottle Not too long ago we’ve entered the world of liquor production by preserving the flavours of Buchholz in alcohol. When the season goes a bit quieter we find the time to try and mix together the different herbs, flowers, leaves, barks, fruits and roots that we forage throughout the year to produce liquors and drinks at @otto_berlin @trio.berlin and @plutoberlin . We’ve started out with our very own Vermouth based on an apple cider and a variety of herbal extracts. 20 different regional plants and herbs serve as a basis for our Buchholz Bitter. This year we‘ve added an Amaretto made of wild drupes from Schorfheide that is currently used in an Amaretto Sour at @plutoberlin

Finally another Buchholz apple harvest! The amount was not as crazy as two years ago but we still managed to get a nice mix of apples around Buchholz right when the summer days came for a last visit around here. @mosterei.klimmek juiced these treasures for us and the Buchholz Grand Cuvée is ready for you at @trio.berlin

Few-flowered garlic bulbils aka the smallest onion in the world, yellow archangel prime time, harvest of wild herbs and flowers around Buchholz, gorgeous radishes and chrysanthemum from @sflorahof , humongous wood sorrel, woodruff is ready, some oyster mushrooms came late to the party and more tree blossom extracts for otto drinks.
